OVERVIEW: Another week, another accumulator and a great looking one at that. But before we get into the details, I wanted to go over some funny news which emerged out of Italy this week. Who remembers Sinisa Mihajlovic? The former Lazio and Inter nutcase defender with one of the deadliest free kicks in the game. How could anyone forget him. Well, he is now manager of Bologna, who incidentally face one of our acca picks, Inter. In the pre-match press conference, the mental Serb was asked why he tested a new tactical pattern in training and would he be applying it in the match at the San Siro. His response…

‘No, it was just a feint to know which players gave the news to the journalists. If I find out the player who spoke, I stick him to the wall and he won’t play football again. When I find the player who switched, it’s going to be his f**king problem. If he does this to get a better score on other teams you never know anything. On ours, everyone knows everything. I swear if I find him, I don’t know what I’m gunna do, but I’ll find it’

GOOD OLD SINISA. – Let’s hope he finds the culprit and it sends their match preparations into meltdown.

Anyway, now for more pressing matters. I Love the look of this week’s accumulator pick. 5 teams all bang in form and all playing on Saturday at varying times. I’m hoping this maybe the gem we’ve been crying out for all season, 11/1 represents great value. The plan was to deliberately select kick off times that stagger right across Saturday giving the avid viewer the chance to watch and have the extra vested interest. What’s also worth noting is that there aren’t any early starts which usually catches us with our pants down. It’s all set up for a couple of Saturday night beers watching Messi put on a show to wrap up the acca. Imagine that, bloody lovely.

PICKS: You may be raising an eyebrow at Tranmere being first up for the line and although they only sit mid-table in League 2 they have recorded 8 victories in a row in all competitions and are the leagues form side. 5/4 represents unbelievable value. HOME WIN.

Juventus go into the Derby Della Mole unbeaten in 7 and they would expect to beat their city rivals who are situated in Serie A’s relegation zone. Ronaldo is still scoring goals. Routine HOME WIN.

Since defeat at home to Arsenal earlier in the season, Man United have gone about their business relatively quietly winning each of their last 3 Premier League matches. This is in part due to the form of Bruno Fernandes, the Portuguese playmaker has been flying. Opponents West Ham have been going along nicely this season themselves but the Manc’s should be too strong here. I fancy Cavani to bag another goal. AWAY WIN.

Inter have really started to put a run together in Serie A. 4 wins in a row to be precise which has seen them rise to 2nd place in the table. We’ve already heard from the Bologna camp. Utter Chaos. HOME WIN.

There’s a running theme here, teams finally putting runs together and Barcelona are no different. 3 on the bounce for them and maybe Koeman is starting to get a grip at the Camp Nou. Messi to STAMP THE SLIP Saturday night.

JUVENTUS 4/11 (Away v Benevento. Saturday – 17:00)

REAL MADRID 1/3 (Home v Alaves. Saturday – 20:00)

AC MILAN 4/6 (Home v Fiorentina. Sunday – 14:00)

MONACO 1/3 (Home v Nimes. Sunday – 14:00

CONFIDENCE: 7/10

OVERVIEW: Welcome again one and all, this week’s accumulator selection is a weekend whistle stop tour of the great European hotspots – Starting in Bolton and heading 5 star to Turin, Madrid, Milan, finishing in Monte Carlo for a little casino dabble with our winnings. All during lockdown, what a belter.

The set up is simple, £10, 5 teams, all to win, spread across Saturday and Sunday. We are due a winner and this could be the one.

PICKS: Bolton have started to pick up in League 2 after a difficult opening period. They’ve won their last four matches in all competitions and face a Southend side rock bottom of the football league. The visitors have been the whipping boys so far and have lost 4 of their last 5. HOME WIN

Juventus are starting to do what Juventus do, win games. Although not at their very best in Serie A thus far, they travel to a Benevento side who lost 4 of their last 5 league games and by some by decent margins. ROUTINE AWAY WIN.

Madrids league form has been a bit scratchy so far this season however, they welcome Alaves to the Bernabeu, A team they have beaten by at least 2 goals in their last 8 meetings. More of the same. HOME WIN.

Table Toppers AC Milan welcome 15th place Fiorentina to the San Siro where they haven’t lost for 13 league matches. In form Zlatan Ibrahimovic to continue his rich vein of form in this HOME WIN.

Monaco have won their last 3 Ligue 1 matches including a Cesc Fabregas inspired 3-2 win over PSG last time out. Opponents Nimes have lost 4 of their last 5. The equation suggests a Monaco win to WRAP UP THE ACCA.

This week’s accumulator is £10 @10/1

CHELTENHAM 8/11 (Home v Walsall – KO 15:00)

EXETER 4/6 (Home v Oldham – KO 15:00)

CAMBRIDGE UNITED 4/6 (Away v Southend – KO 15:00)

NEWPORT COUNTY 1/1 (Home v Port Vale – KO 15:00)

CONFIDENCE: 7/10

OVERVIEW: I’ve scowled the usual leagues across Europe in search of something to get excited about and it’s either shortest of short odds or risky risky. Quite often you get weekends where the fixture list is not worth wiping your backside with. It’s a shame seeing as we finally made to the arse end of the naff international break.

Anyway, I had a little look at the lower leagues and realised most of the top teams are playing sides quite low down. Delving a bit deeper into form, odds etc I’ve managed to get a canny looking line from League 2. So here we have it, a League 2 special. Yes I know, there’s nowt special about it, same carry on, £10, 4 teams, all to win. 10/1 is cracking odds in my opinion and here’s why.

PICKS: Cheltenham sit 3rd in the league and have only lost once at home in their last 8 games which includes 6 wins. They entertain a 13th placed Walsall side who have lost their last 3 matches including a defeat to bottom side Southend. HOME WIN.

Exeter are now 13 games unbeaten and sit nicely in the playoff places. They welcome an Oldham side who have to make 500 mile round trip and sit perilously above the professional football relegation zone. HOME WIN.

Newport County are top of the tree and have won their last 6 league matches at home. Although opponents Port Vale sit just outside the playoffs, they are leaking as many goals as they are scoring. 7 home wins in a row incoming for County.

although Southend won their last match against Walsall, they hadn’t won for the previous 16. They sit rock bottom of the table, an ideal fixture for Cambridge who are flying high in 2nd. They have amassed 25 goals in their 12 matches so far only conceding 9. Go on you university toffs, WRAP UP THE ACCA FOR US.

CHELSEA 4/11 (Home v Sheffield United. Saturday KO 17:30

TOTTENHAM 4/9 (Away v West Brom. Sunday KO 12:00)

ROMA 4/6 (Away v Genoa. Sunday KO 14:00)

ARSENAL 8/13 (Home v Aston Villa. Sunday KO 19:15)

MILAN 2/5 (Home v Verona. Sunday 19:45)

CONFIDENCE: 7/10

OVERVIEW: Let down by one Inter goal last week cost us the acca but you know what, we are on the cusp of something great and it will come in the shape of our free £10 returned stake this weekend.

I’ve tried to make a big effort to avoid early kick off’s this time round, especially the Saturday pit of hell ones. You know the score, a trap door banker you think is made of solid oak only for a pile of straw to fall from beneath your feet, blowing your once winning ticket away in the process.

Granted, the Spurs KO is a midday affair but in COVID times it’s hard to completely avoid the early kick offs as most of the matches are so spread out. One plus is it’s not until Sunday meaning we aren’t risking a total wash out early doors and with the form of the Kane/Son partnership we should be looking at a green tick anyway✅ Of the 5 matches in question this week, 4 of them are on Sunday with 2 kicking off after 7pm for a floodlight feel. It’s a long stretch of a weekend acca but..

GOOD THINGS COME TO THOSE WHO WAIT.

PICKS: Chelsea have won their last 3 games scoring over 3 in each and conceding 0. The omens look good as their opponents Sheffield United sit rock bottom of the Premier League with a measly 1 point from their opening 7 matches. Hakim Ziyech could be a real season turner for The Blues, dangerous from set plays, his return to the team can only be a good thing for our acca cause. HOME WIN.

It’s 3rd top versus 3 bottom at the hawthorns. Tottenham have to be big favourites with form of messrs Kane and Son Min Heung. Bale from the bench is also a brilliant attacking option. Spurs are unbeaten in 6 league games which includes a 6-1 hammering of Man United. West Brom still haven’t won a match. AWAY WIN.

Roma seem to have experienced an indifferent start to the Serie A season but on closer inspection are actually unbeaten in 8 games while the defeat at Verona was actually a defaulted match. They should have too much for an average Genoa side who hover perilously above the drop zone. This is the make break match of the acca but AWAY WIN.

Despite Villa’s good start in the league, they will lose away to Arsenal under the floodlights. The inconsistent gunners 1-0 victory at Old Trafford could be the result that starts a run and the goal for Aubameyang could get his season off an running also. HOME WIN.

Milan’s defeat in the Europa league on Thursday was their first loss in 28, yes 28 matches. They have been Europe’s form side aided by 39 year old Zlatan Ibrahimovic who is the current Serie A leading scorer. They entertain a Verona side who haven’t registered a victory in 13 away matches. HOME WIN late on Sunday evening to WRAP UP THE ACCA.

This week’s accumulator pick is £10 @6/1

– DORTMUND 4/11 (Away v Arminia Bielefeld. Saturday KO 14:30)

– CHELSEA 8/15 (Away v Burnley. Saturday KO 15:00)

INTER 3/10 (Home v Parma. Saturday KO 17:00)

LIVERPOOL 4/11 (Home v West Ham. Saturday KO 17:30)

MILAN 4/6 (Away v Udinese. Sunday KO 11:30)

CONFIDENCE: 7/10

OVERVIEW: There’s a real European Super League feel about this week’s accumulator. 5 top sides, all strong favourites, selected from Europe’s best divisions. What could possibly go wrong this Halloween?!

It’s the first time in a while I’ve picked matches spread over Saturday and Sunday, we haven’t had much luck sticking to Saturdays so we are mixing it up again. One thing to note is the line would actually be wrapped up very early on Sunday, the Milan kick off time has an insane 11:30AM slot. Granted we were undone by an early start last time out but, hey-ho, we are a glutton for punishment and Milan are one of the world’s form sides.

So here we go.

PICKS: Dortmund have quietly gone about their business in the Bundesliga since defeat at Augsburg early on, winning their last 4 matches. They travel to struggling Bielefeld who have only won one of their opening 5 games, losing their last 3. AWAY WIN

Chelsea have been a mixed bag so far this season, either inspired or indifferent. We hope for the former as they go to Burnley, a team who haven’t won in the Premier League since January, losing 4 of their opening 5 matches this campaign. The return of Hakim Ziyech for Chelsea should give the blues a big lift. AWAY WIN.

Inter have started this seasons Serie A campaign with 3 wins from 5 with their only defeat coming in the derby against in form Milan. Parma on the other hand have only picked up 1 solitary victory, losing 3 of their matches. Home advantage and general gulf in class should be the difference here. HOME WIN.

Other than the freak 7-2 reverse at Aston Villa, Liverpool’s form has been pretty ominous. Despite not being at their best, they have been pretty ruthless results wise and I would expect that to continue at home to West Ham. The hammers have had some decent results of late but travelling to Anfield is different kettle of fish. HOME WIN.

Milan are now a mighty 30 matches unbeaten in all competitions which stretches back to March, 22 of which have been victories. They are undoubtedly Europe’s form side and will look to cement their place at the top of Serie A with a win at Udinese. The hosts have only managed 1 win in their 5 games, losing the other 4. Zlatan Ibrahimovic continues to do the business, currently the league’s top goalscorer at 39 years of age. Fancy him to WRAP UP THE ACCA early Sunday.

BLOGIN BETS 24/10/20 – £100 Challenge (Stage 5)

STAGE 5

MILLWALL & DONCASTER EACH TO SCORE 1+ GOALS 8/13

  • STAKE: £55.69
  • RETURNS: £89.96

OVERVIEW: I’ve had a few messages about when the £100 challenge would continue, it’s been a while since we completed stage 4. As we are now so close to the target I’ve been agonising over the right bet to take us forward but I think I’ve finally found that bet.

This bet won’t take us to exactly £100 but will leave us pretty darn close so one more stage will be required to get to the magic target. However £89.96 is nothing to be sniffed at considering we started with a measly £10. Pulling out that point is perfectly fine if people so wish.

So, Stage 5. All we require is for Millwall and Doncaster to score a goal each in their respective matches this afternoon. Millwall, who is sit in the Championship playoff spots, are home to relegation candidates Barnsley and have amassed 10 goals in their last 6 league matches. Doncaster entertain Crewe who sit just below mid table in league 1. Tellingly, Doncaster have also managed 10 goals in their last 6 league matches. I expect both teams to win never mind get 1 goal each.

Remember, that’s all we need, a goal from each side. What a chance to complete this stage and be within touching distance of £100 mark. GOALS GOALS GOALS.

MAN CITY 4/11 (Away v West Ham. KO 12:30

CAMBRIDGE UNITED 1/1 (Home v Bolton. KO 15:00)

MARSEILLE 8/5 (Away v Lorient. KO 16:00)

INTER 3/10 (Away v Genoa. KO 17:00)

LIVERPOOL 2/9 (Home v Sheff United. KO 20:00)

CONFIDENCE: 7/10

OVERVIEW: Before we get into the nitty gritty of breaking down this week’s accumulator, I actually can’t believe how high the odds for this line is. 11/1 is a superb price and I don’t see any reason why this one wouldn’t have a decent chance.

As usual, we have the same carry on, £10 on 5 teams all to win spread right across Saturday, with no two fixtures having the same kick off time. The key fixture for me is meat of the sandwich, the middle game, Marseille away at Lorient. That’s the banana skin here but again, and i will go into more depth later, I see no reason to suggest they can’t pick up the 3 points and the green tick we need.

Obviously another thing to note is there’s an early kick off on the line as well which is usually a no go, but I think it’s a strong enough favourite not to be a worry. So here we go.

PICKS: Man City have actually made an indifferent start to the season by their imperious standards but an early marker away at West Ham is exactly what they need. Talisman Sergio Aguero is now back fit and could be the key in putting together a run of form. AWAY WIN.

Cambridge United are flying in League 2. 4 wins in a row and top of the table, they host a Bolton side who haven’t won in 5 and sit 5 from the bottom of England’s professional pyramid. HOME WIN.

As mentioned earlier, this is the big game of the line in my opinion. A quick glance on paper suggests both Marseille and opponents Lorient aren’t in great form, however on closer inspection, Marseille haven’t been losing games with draws being the order of the day as well as playing some of the top sides along the way. They haven’t lost in 6 league matches and were very impressive against Bordeaux last time out picking up a nice 3-1. What’s more, Les Olympiens have only lost twice in 13 in this fixture so the omens are good. AWAY WIN.

Inter will be looking for a routine win at Genoa. If they are to have serious title aspirations, this is the type of bread and butter fixture they need to be winning. Conte’s side have good reason to be confident, they have won the last 4 matches against their hosts all to nil amassing an average of 4 goals. Genoa haven’t scored a goal since the opening day and the firepower of Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez should be too much for them at the other end. AWAY WIN.

Liverpool actually haven’t won for 3 Premier League games. They have the perfect chance at home to Sheff United who sit second bottom of table and are yet to win in 5 matches played – losing 4. I have no doubts that this match will WRAP UP THE ACCA should we make it this far.

– CHELSEA 1/2 (Home v Southampton. KO 15:00)

CAMBRIDGE UNITED 11/8 (Away v Scunthorpe. KO 15:00)

BRISTOL CITY 13/8 (Away v Barnsley. KO 15:00)

JUVENTUS 4/11 (Away v Crotone. KO 19:45)

CONFIDENCE: 6/10

OVERVIEW: Another week and another accumulator to keep tabs on. This time round all the fixtures are on Saturday (today) Thought process being we could possibly do another daft one tomorrow should we have a winner today.

The main thing to note on this line is the high odds for only 4 selections. I’ve done the extensive research and can’t see any reason why this wouldn’t have a good chance. The slightly lower confidence rating is the fact there must be a something to make this price is so high but I’m yet to find it. Heres hoping nothing has slipped through the net of chance.

Also, look at the range of teams. We go from the elite, elegant end of Serie A to blood and guts league 2 in only four selections. Superb stuff and something for everyone.

PICKS: Chelsea have made an indifferent start to the Premier League season. However this does not include their home form which has been very impressive. The blues have won 9 of their last 10 matches at Stamford bridge with the only failure being against champions Liverpool. Bread and butter matches like these are crucial if they want to be classed as serious title contenders. HOME WIN.

Cambridge United sit pretty in 2nd position of League 2 after 5 matches having scored 10 and only conceding 3 in that time. Opponents Scunthorpe, on the other hand, have only picked up 4 points from their first 5 and languish down in 20th. AWAY WIN.

Bristol City have flown out of the championship blocks winning all their 4 matches so far. What more they play a Barnsley side who have yet to win and have only managed 1 goal in the process. We’re going with form here for sure. AWAY WIN.

Juventus are Juventus, they win matches. Despite being without talisman Christiano Ronaldo, they will have enough to beat bottom side Crotone who have lost all 3 matches in Serie A so far by at least 3 goals. Should be a comfortable one tonight to WRAP UP THE ACCA.

BLOGIN BETS 21/8/20 (Europa League final special)

This week’s pick is £10 @5/1 bet builder special. (INTER V SEVILLA. KO 20:00)

• ROMELU LUKAKU – TO SCORE ANYTIME 7/5

ROMELU LUKAKU – TO HAVE 2+ SHOTS ON TARGET 13/5

OVER 1.5 MATCH GOALS 2/7

OVER 8.5 MATCH CORNERS 9/20

CONFIDENCE: 8/10

OVERVIEW: Hello all, I haven’t posted any bets for a few weeks. This is basically because I haven’t made any, either due to the difficulty of fixtures or the general lack of them. Tonight though, it’s the Europa League final and I tell you what, it looks a cracker and one not to be missed. With that in mind, I’ve gone for a little bet builder special with the main focus on one of Europe’s inform strikers.

Romelu Lukaku has scored in his last 10 Europa League matches and I fancy that streak to continue tonight. Often criticised during his time at Manchester United, he has looked fitter, sharper and a lot leaner since moving to Inter and has managed to bag himself 33 goals in all competitions this season, a very lucrative return. He also takes Inter’s penalties so a goal and 2+ shots on target for the big man looks a decent shout.

I can’t separate the 2 teams in terms of a result, Inter probably slight favourites but I definitely think there will be goals and plenty of corners. The bet looks really good value at 5/1 and, from a neutral standpoint, adds a little extra kick to what already should be a quality fixture.

Other notable players who could be worth a punt on if Lukaku isn’t to your fancy are 2 Argentinian players, Lukaku’s Inter strike parter Lautaro Martinez or Lucas Ocampos, the tricky winger for Seville.

CHELSEA 4/5 (Home v Wolves. Sunday KO 16:00)

OVER 3.5 GOALS 4/7 (Man City v Norwich. Sunday KO 16:00)

JUVENTUS 2/9 (Home v Sampdoria. Sunday KO 20:45)

CONFIDENCE: 7/10

OVERVIEW: With La Liga and the Bundesliga finished and this being the final round of Premier League matches, it’s likely to be the last betting matches of the season. Luck has been at a premium since lockdown, the lack of full stadiums definitely having an impact. The general pace of games has been noticeably slower and the obvious removal of home advantage has had a massive say on results. Let’s hope it’s not too long into the new season before we see bums on seats once again and a return to normality.

This week I’ve gone for a big 10/1 shot. 5 selections involving 6 teams, spread over Saturday and Sunday. If Chelsea can sneak by Watford I’m pretty confident so let’s see.

PICKS: Inter have beaten opponents Genoa in their last 3 meetings by an aggregate score of 13-0 and, despite the away sides upturn in form, I expect that to be extended. Inter have secured Champions League football for another season whilst Genoa aren’t safe from relegation, sitting 4th bottom. HOME WIN.

Arsenal are a funny side. They beat Liverpool and City then lose to Villa, very unpredictable. However, Watford’s bizarre decision to sack their manager so late in the season hasn’t seemed to pay off, I think it’s one that will see them relegated. Arsenal to put them to the sword with the shackles off.

Chelsea have won 6 matches in a row at home and that’s why I’ve gone for them here. Not only that, they need a win the guarentee a Champions League spot. It’ll be a tough test against a good Wolves side and this will be a crucial match for the acca. Close home win.

Man City have score 4+ goals in 5 of their last 8 Premier League matches. Norwich have conceded 14 goals in 6 of theirs. Enough said. Over 3.5 goals in this one.

Despite only winning one of their last 5 Serie A matches, a win at home to Sampdoria will clinch yet another Scudetto for Juventus. Sampdoria’s form has been decent since lockdown, securing their league status in the process. I can’t see that stopping the old lady wrapping up the title and wrapping up the acca. YESSSAAI.
